This file is presently used for storing facility designed suspension and/or unauthorized claims letter(s). Future versions may utilize this file for other types of correspondence. Per VHA Directive 10-93-142, this file definition should not be modified.

.01	name(+)	0;1	FREE TEXT		B	Name assigned to this letter for later selection.
.02	type of letter	0;2	SET OF CODES	1:UNAUTHORIZED CLAIM		Used to designate the appropriate letter category.
1	beginning of letter	1;0	WORD-PROCESSING			Any number of paragraphs which will be printed at the top of the letter. This same data will be printed on every suspense letter generated, therefore it should be as generic as possible. See the SAMPLE letter sent out with the DHCP Fee package.
2	end of letter	2;0	WORD-PROCESSING			This can be any number of paragraphs and will be printed after the specific suspended line items are printed. This, like field #1 will be printed on all suspense letters generated, therefore it must be generic. See the Sample letter sent out with the system.
