2	study date	A_STUDYDAT;1	FREE TEXT			The value of this field is the date on which the study that is referenced in this entry was performed. This date is encoded as yyyy.mm.dd
3	patient name	A_PNAME;1	FREE TEXT			The value of this field is equal to the name of the patient for whom the study in question is performed. This value is copied from ^DPT so that the VistA DICOM Gateway will need to be able to access this value whether or not the network link with the VistA system (DDP) is available.
4	ssn	A_SSN;1	FREE TEXT			The value of this field is a code that identifies a patient. This code is equal to the patient's Social Security Number. This value is copied from ^DPT so that the VistA DICOM Gateway will need to be able to access this value whether or not the network link with the VistA system (DDP) is available.
5	case number	A_CASENUMB;1	FREE TEXT			The value of this field is the (short) case number for the study that is referenced in this entry. A long case number consists of two groups of digits separated by a dash. The first group is 6 digits, and is derived from the date. The second group is an integer number that uniquely identifies the study for that date. For this field, just that second number is entered.
