4	mode	0;4	SET OF CODES	F:FIFO Queue D:Direct		The value of this field is a code that specifies how the communication takes place with the equipment that is described in this entry. Possible values are DIRECT and by FIFO queue (First In, First Out).
5	channel	0;5	NUMERIC			The value of this field is an integer number that identifies the channel that is used for the communication with the equipment described in this entry. Channel numbers are integer numbers. The lowest channel number is one; typically, a site has only two channels, on occasion a higher number of channels may be utilized.
