Contains the HCFA rate groups for ambulatory surgeries that may be billed. This file is time sensitive, a procedure may have multiple entries indicating updates effective on different dates. These updates include a procedure changing rate groups or changing status. The data in this file is either transfered from 350.41 or entered interactively and is used to calculate the charge for a procedure on any given date. Per VHA Directive 10-93-142, this file definition should not be modified. As of 10/1/96 this functionality has not been authorized. The data in this file is deleted by patch IB*2*52 and the file definition will be deleted in a future release.
