Contains updates to the ambulatory surgery procedures that can be billed. The data comes from HCFA in a WP file that is uploaded and entered into this file, generally once a year. The new billing procedures or billing group updates are activated only after the data in this file is transferred to 350.4. This file should be empty except during the loading and transferring of the HCFA updates. Per VHA Directive 10-93-142, this file definition should not be modified. As of 10/1/96 this functionality has not been authorized. The data in this file is deleted by patch IB*2*52 and the file definition will be deleted in a future release.

.03	old rate group	0;3	POINTER	350.1		This is the rate group that the procedure belongs to before this entry is activated, as defined by the HCFA document.
.04	new rate group	0;4	POINTER	350.1		The rate group for this procedure after this entry is activated.
.05	date loaded	0;5	DATE-TIME			The date the HCFA information was loaded into this file.
.06	update action	0;6	SET OF CODES	1:CREATED 2:ACTIVATED 3:CHANGED GROUPS 4:DEACTIVATED		The result caused by this entry on the procedure.
.07	status	0;7	SET OF CODES	0:NOT TRANSFERED 1:TRANSFERED		A flag indicating if this entry has been successfully transferred to the billing file 350.4 (and therefore activated). If this is null then the transfer program has not yet processed this procedure (entry).
.08	error	0;8	FREE TEXT			Description of the error which prevented the entry from transferring to 350.4. This field is edited automatically by the transfer program.
