This file is used in the calculation of the charge for an ambulatory surgery performed on any given date. This file contains time sensitive data with each entry defining a locality modifier and wage percentage for a division. There may be multiple entries for each division indicating changes effective on a particular date. Per VHA Directive 10-93-142, this file definition should not be modified.

.04	status(+)	0;4	SET OF CODES	1:ACTIVE 0:INACTIVE		The status for this DIVISION on/after this EFFECTIVE DATE.
.05	wage percentage(+)	0;5	NUMERIC			This is the percentage of the rate group unit charge that is the wage component to be used in calculating the ambulatory surgery charge.
.06	non-wage percentage(+)	0;6	NUMERIC			This is the percentage of the rate group unit charge that is the non-wage component to be used in calculating the ambulatory surgery charge.
.07	locality rate modifier(+)	0;7	NUMERIC			This is the Geographic Wage Index that is used to account for wage differences in different localities when calculating the ambulatory surgery charge. It is multiplied by the wage component to get the final geographic wage component of the charge.
