This file holds a list of valid statuses that can be assigned to each Rx that represents the authorization for the Rx. This is independent of the eligibility code assigned to the patient by MAS. This file also holds the parameters that determine if an Rx for a certain status can be refilled, etc. Data is sent for this file, but can be altered by the center, with care.

2	abbr	0;2	FREE TEXT		C	Respond with an abbreviation for the patient's status.
3	days supply	0;3	NUMERIC			Respond with the maximum number of days a prescription can be written for.
4	refills	0;4	NUMERIC			Respond with the maximum number of refills allowed for a particular prescription.
5	renewable	0;5	BOOLEAN	1:YES 0:NO		This field refers to whether or not a prescription is renewable. Answer "1" to indicate "Yes", or "0" to indicate "No".
6	sc/a&a/other/inpatient/nva(+)	0;6	SET OF CODES	1:SERVICE CONNECTED 2:A&A 3:OTHER 4:INPATIENT 5:NON-VA		Respond by entering the AMIS workload category for which this prescription will count.
15	exempt from copayment	0;7	BOOLEAN	0:NO 1:YES		This field is meant to allow the site to screen RX copayments by RX Patient Status, (e.g., Inpatient). If this field is answered 'YES', any RX with this Status will not be charged a copayment.
16	exempt from champus billing	0;8	BOOLEAN	0:NO 1:YES		This field can be used to exempt an Rx Patient status from Champus billing.
