File of formal procedures used at the host site in the performance of scheduled maintenance (PMI). If a facility wants their source documents in electronic format and is willing to accept the limitations of the FileMan word-processing editor, then the actual step by step text of a PM Procedure may be stored in this file.

.01	pm reference(+)	0;1	FREE TEXT		B	This reference identifies the PM procedure and is similar in concept to a memo number (e.g. EL-1). It will be shown on PM worklists along with the PM title.
1	procedure title	0;2	FREE TEXT		C	This is the title of the PM procedure. It will be shown on PM worklists and also in the Work Performed field of PM work orders.
2	source	0;3	FREE TEXT			Source of the PM instructions. Could be the equipment manufacturer or some authoritative and/or knowledgeable organization (ex: ASHE, VACO, NEMA, etc). Use of this field is optional.
3	text	1;0	WORD-PROCESSING			Enter the actual PM instructions here. Sites that are short on disk space should generally maintain the actual procedures in hard copy only.
