The ROR LOCAL FIELD file stores definitions of local registry-specific fields created at the site. Uniqueness of the field names for a particular registry is enforced by the primary key "A" and uniqueness index "KEY".

.01	name(+)	0;1	FREE TEXT		B	You can either select an existing local field definition or add a new one. Field names must be unique within the registry.
.02	date of inactivation	0;2	DATE-TIME			If this field has a value, the definition of local field will be considered inactive and will not be presented to the users after this date. Use this field to disable unnecessary local fields (and keep their values) instead of deleting them.
.03	registry(+)	0;3	POINTER	798.1		This field identifies the registry that the local field is associated with.
1	description(+)	1;E1,200	FREE TEXT			The DESCRIPTION field stores explanations of the local field and/or its purpose. This text is presented to the user during editing of the field.
