This file is used to assign Local ICNs (Integration Control Numbers) when the Master Patient Index (MPI) is unavailable.

Fields

.01	site id number(+)	0;1	NUMERIC		B	This is the number which will be used as a multiple to generate local ICNs when the MPI is unreachable.
1	last number used(+)	0;2	NUMERIC			This keeps the last number used (not the next number to use).
2	check sum for last number used	0;3	NUMERIC			This filed contains the checksum for the last Local ICN (Integration Control Number) in the LAST NUMBER USED field.
3	next number to use	0;4	NUMERIC			When used move to last number used and generate a new entry.
5	check sum for next	0;5	NUMERIC			This is the checksum for the next number to use. Move to the checksum used then generate a new entry.
