The DICOM gateway will route the messages to commercial PACS vendors or modality worklist interfaces. Fileman should not be used to enter information into this file. Entries are made into this file from the MAGD SEND ORM, MAGD SEND ORU, and MAGD DHCP-PACS ADT EVENTS protocols. Maintenance on this file is performed from the DICOM gateway.

1	message segments	1;0	WORD-PROCESSING			This word process field will contain the entire HL7 message segments pertaining to one message entry.
2	patient	0;4	POINTER	2	D	The HL7 message pertains to this patient. Will be updated by the DICOM Text gateway after it processes the message into a DICOM file.
5	sent protocol	0;5	FREE TEXT			This HL7 message was sent by this protocol (Patient Demographics, Order Entry, etc.). Will be updated by the DICOM Text Gateway after it processes the message into a DICOM file.
6	requeued	0;6	BOOLEAN	1:YES		If this field is set, it will indicate that a request has been made to resend the information to the PACS Vendor or a Modality Worklist requestor. Process will be updated by the DICOM Text Gateway.
