This file contains the definition of each of the laboratory controls used as part of the laboratory's quality control program. Every lab control for which data will be gathered, entered, calculated, recorded and/or stored by the system must have an entry in this file. Also to be included as entries in this file are any 'control-like' samples which might appear on any of your load or work lists (see file #68.2 - LOAD/WORK LIST), including references, blanks, water samples or similar priming materials. Each lab control name entry is defined by the file, listing information such as expiration date, lot number, type of specimen the control 'mimics', tests performed on the control, mean and standard deviation values, etc.

.03	exclude data entry	0;4	BOOLEAN	1:YES		If or when no more data is to be allowed to be entered for this control, this field must contain a YES entry.
.04	mimic specimen	0;5	POINTER	61		The specimen (topography) that this control imitates. Points to FILE #61.
.09	identifier/lot #	0;9	FREE TEXT			The lot number or other identifier of this control.
2	test	1;0	MULTIPLE	62.31		These are all the tests that are done with the "Lab Control" named. They must be individual tests, i.e. no panels of tests.
3	parallel control	0;3	POINTER	62.3		This indicates what other control is to be used for paired controls in the Multirule-Shewhart.
4	accession test	2;0	MULTIPLE	62.32		Entries here are used when controls are accessioned into the laboratory.
63	laboratory reference	LR;1	POINTER	63		Points to the LAB DATA file. Cannot be altered except by programmer. This is the INTERNAL pointer to the lab data file. (LRDFN)
