1	class(+)	0;2	POINTER	2005.82	ACL	This field is a pointer to the IMAGE INDEX FOR CLASS file. Select the appropriate class for this specialty. For example, non-document images are of class type 'CLIN'.
2	spec level	0;3	POINTER	2005.84	ASPEC	This field contain the specialty level for the specialty being entered. For example specialties VASCULAR and UROLOGY are part of the specialty level SURGERY. This field will be used in indexing images and provide a broad level of sorting.
3	abbreviation	2;1	FREE TEXT		C	Enter an abbreviation for this specialty.
4	status	0;4	SET OF CODES	A:ACTIVE I:INACTIVE		This field is used to inactivate an entry in this file. It affects which specialties can be selected in the filtering option of VistA Imaging Display.
